The driver and I were both fine, he just over-corrected his steering. Very comfortable crash. The car was an ~’07 Nissan Altima.

Did you call a tow?

Did you guys have to get a tow? If yes, did the driver run the meter?
In all seriousness, glad you’re okay!

2003 - on the way home through the park at 96th Street. Standard Ford Crown Vic taxi. Temperature in the mid 20s, just starting to snow. My ex and I were in the back. The driver lost it, spun it, and smacked the left front end into a stone wall. Driver (Russian accent): “Damn - I just pick up this car from body shop!”
No one was hurt, but we walked home, despite the cold.

No tips. He was a really nice guy. Tried to rip him, but he wouldn't take it. It was the start of his day, too.

-1*C. Not too chilly, just uncleared roads.

I was picked up by another cab, but didn't have to pay the first guy. His car should be fine, he just needs a tow out of the median. Didn't see the aftermath.

I actually did! The driver kept handing me his phone, I’m guessing because the people on the other end couldn't understand his accent.
